The Partners

1200+ partners, a big and growing number of individuals and organisations, are contributing to the success of K4DP, in facilitating or hosting events, contributing statements, joining and developing the School of Knowledge Sciences, the Next Level Academy, working on the global or a national knowledge agenda, discussing ways to advance knowledge societies, sharing experiences in Knowledge Management, encouraging each other in times of doubt and failure, educating and training newcomers, researching for a better understanding of knowledge in societies, building relations to relevant people or institutions, writing articles and taking responsibility in living the values of K4DP in whatever they do. We are all K4DP.is established as an Association based on Austrian law, headquartered in Vienna. It has 4 Managing Directors, who form the Board of Directors.

Andreas Brandner

Knowledge for Development Partnership, KMA, and knowledge.city

Andreas Brandner has been one of the initiators of the Agenda Knowledge for Development and is Co-Editor. As the Managing Director of Knowledge Management Austria, he has been the chairman of the historic K4D Partnership Global Conference at the UN Office in Geneva 2017. Since then he is Managing Director of K4DP and is the chairman of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Sarah Cummings is Co-Editor of the Agenda Knowledge for Development and has lead the relaunch and publication of the third edition. Sarah Cummings is long-term editor of  the Knowledge Management for Development Journal, member of the km4dev core team and since 2017 co-founder and Managing Director of K4DP, specifically maintaining the dialogue and further development of the Knowledge Agenda.

Since 2017 Mary Suzan Abbo is co-founder and Managing Director of K4DP. She is specifically responsible for the Development of K4DP in Ugandan and Africa, as well as in the area of Sustainable able Energy.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Tahnon Al Nahyan

Knowledge for Development Partnership and Ministry of Interior, United Arab Emirates.

HH Mohamed Bin Tahnon Al Nahyan is Chairman of the Knowledge Committee, Ministry of Interior, UAE and a strong proponent of Knowledge Management in the public administration of the UAE and the Arab Region in general. He is co-founder and Managing Director since 2017 and  specifically responsible for the Arab Region.
